1. Who we are

Music Stacks is published by Denim Dog LLC, a Kansas limited liability company.

2. How Music Stacks works with Apple Music

Music Stacks is an Apple Music client that runs entirely on your device.

  • All library reads and writes happen on your device and are sent directly to Apple's servers through the official MusicKit framework over encrypted HTTPS.
  • Your Apple Music library data (songs, playlists, listening history) is processed by Music Stacks on your device.
  • Denim Dog LLC does not operate servers that handle your music data.

3. What data we (don't) collect

4. How we use information

  • Diagnostics supplied by Apple help us identify crashes and performance issues.
  • Denim Dog LLC does not store, sell, or share personal data.

5. User-initiated data export

Music Stacks lets you export your stacks so you can back them up or share them.

  • Export files are created locally on your device.
  • You decide if, when, and how to share them (e.g., AirDrop, Mail).
  • Denim Dog LLC never receives a copy unless you send it to us directly.

6. Data retention & deletion

  • Because we don't collect data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our servers.
  • Delete Music Stacks to erase all app data from your device.

7. Children's privacy

Music Stacks is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Effective date" above and post the revised policy at this URL.

We will announce any material changes to our data practices on our website and in app release notes.
